  • Life

According to my Summer School Chemistry teacher I should take AP Physics..... Not going to happen..... I am not good at math. But summer school is better, I was just in a bad mood the last time I wrote about it. I hadn't had sleep and I was depressed so I'm sorry for the moodiness of that post.

Anyways I got mad at Mikey for telling me I had to pick between the army and him, I wasn't planning on going into the army either, which was why I was mad...... I also don't like being told I have to pick between two things.

I'm looking at Colleges/Universities. I've narrowed it down to four: Rutgers University, Syracuse University, SUNY Oneonta, and Hartwick College. If I don't get accepted into any of them then it's off to the local community college, which isn't that bad. It's the best in the state.

My mom is planning on going to rehab finally. It kind of annoys me though.... She couldn't have done it when I was younger, but life would have been a lot different if I lived with her.

I got a Venus fly trap on the fourth of July and I now know how to feed it..... I'm happy about that.

Anyways I have to read a book by Wednesday so I'm gonna go. I also  have math and science......

What is the one thing in the world you want more then anything else?

  • Summer School

I really don't need the courses I'm taking summer school for, so why am I taking it? I have no clue. I was miserable this morning. I didn't want to get out of bed and did anyways. I was almost late for it AND I found out that near the end of July I will be having 6 hrs of continuous class- no break for lunch or anything, isn't that illegal? I think it is.
Now for the teachers, they are so f*cking happy. I'm sorry but how can you be happy to give up your summer to teach bratty kids? I would rather be stuck in a hole for 22 days then have to sit threw them being happy and saying that they love teaching in the summer. AND I met a kid who elected to take the class over again. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT???? The class has a 50% passing rate and guess what he passed the fricken thing so why take it over again???? Ugh I'm just annoyed at that.
Sarcasm is my best friend, I realized this today when I was in Advanced Algebra!(again) When the teacher was speaking about wanting to be there I was muttering under my breath about how much I hate LOGS and Fractions aren't are friends and things like that.
Oh and did I mention how I only got 2 hours of sleep last night? That may have caused my iratation with the overly happy teacher.

Anyways thinking about school related things, what is the most embarassing school moment you've ever had?

Mine pretty much was walking into a metal pole in the middle of the hall well reading a book. I had to go the the nurse and get sent home..... great right?

  • Masterbation and Conservatism

Are you being naive or to conservative for following the beliefs of Roman Catholicism? My friend and I were debating the topic on this very early morning and he called me a silly little girl who needed to get her facts straight, though he didn't know everything he was talking about either. I don't understand why people consider someone who defends beliefs that are not your own.

I defended the conservative side of America, understandable many people don't like conservatives but I really don't have a problem with them. American IS a conservative country or at least we were based off of conservative religions. Many of the Europeans that came to America came here because of religious prosecution, many to far into left field and others to far into right field. Thinking about it that way you would think that we as a country would be more moderate correct? Well my friend thinks we're to moderate and anyone that isn't liberal is naive and doesn't understand history. That's not really the case! Catholic's generally have very conservative values as do many Christian religions, and looking at it America has many Christian religions with in it's borders so it would only make sense to be more conservative.

Interestingly enough the whole debate on this topic was started because of a joke... I said I was bored and he told me to go masterbate, yeah I know brilliant end to any bored day. I asked him why he said that and he replied "It's mentally, physically, and sexually very very healthy for either sex" He later explained that it helps relieve stress and tension AND it works out your heart. Wow what have I been missing out on, man let me tell you that's a great reason to go masterbate. Later in the conversation he said that I shouldn't be a naive conservative and be against masterbation, which by the way I'm not against it I just don't see the point in it. So naive and stupidity are similar I guess so I replied "so basically your saying masterbate against stupidity" that really was all I got out of that conversation.

So what are your views is America to conservative and should everyone masterbate, no matter the gender or the religion?

  • Marines

Ever wonder what it's like to be one? I did at one point but now I don't really wonder. Actually I wondered what it was like to be in the military in general. My Uncle's were in the military. My Uncle Phil was in the Army, Uncle Harry the Marines, Grandpa Joe was in the Navy. The Air Force has yet to be explored in my family but all the other ones have. I use to want to be exactly like them, they are and still are my hero's.
Now I'm dating a marine and have friends and family in the military. Rich is over in Iraq away from his two little babies, Josh is stateside but to far away to visit his family more then twice a year, Mikey (BF) is stateside in Cali (the other side of the country) and comes home twice a year, Andrew is stationed over in Japan (hopefully Spain soon enough) and comes home like once a year..... People in the military have a hard life they get taken away from their families and friends only to be told they aren't fighting for a worthy cause. They sacrifice a lot only to be told they didn't sacrifice all that much.
I hear people criticize the War in Iraq and say they won't support any part of it but what about the troops stationed there? I know no one really pays attention anymore and that a soldier dieing is normal but what about the families that suffer with that loss? What about the daughter who was waiting for her dad to come home so she could finally introduce her boyfriend to him? Or the Son who is waiting to play baseball with their dad? Or the babies who will never get to see their fathers or hear their voices?
I can't leave out the women who serve. They suffer just as much as, if not more then, the guys. They leave their children home waiting to see how their son's and daughters are. Hoping they'll be there for prom and marriage's and things like that.

I don't really know the point of the post I was just thinking about it and just decided to write down what I was thinking.
